Hello,
Today we went to the surgeon’s office for a post-operative exam and to get the pathology results of the biopsies of the sentinel lymph node (SNLB) and the tissue removed via the lumpectomy.

Update on Aunt Lucille Seifert 4-07-11
Mother is back at Holmgreen Health Center. She has not been eating very well and has become somewhat weak. She eats more if one of us are with her when she is served her meal. I’ll be taking buttermilk to her tomorrow, and Elaine is taking Cashew Nuts to supplement what she is served. She will continue to get the I.V. antibiotics the rest of this week, and then will get two more weeks of oral antibiotics. (more…)

Where do I begin….
Let’s start with the good news – CT Scans and Bone scans all came back clear – So no other cancer is detected!!! Praise God!

Well it has been a busy week and it is only Wednesday!
Today Jeff and I met my oncologist. His name is Dr Alan Keller (no relation to Helen – Jeff’s joke). We both really liked him and he was very excited about my case!

Letter from Brenda Webb updating Aunt Lucille’s health
Mother was told last Friday that there is a good amount of arthritis in her left hip, right knee and right elbow, in addition, she has tennis elbow in the right elbow. She has been making two different quilts, one for Levi and Kayla and one for David and Jenifer. They are simple squares, but sitting at her sewing machine too long is catching up with her. She is probably getting closer to another back surgery as well. She has vertical compression fractures on each of (more…)
